My Dad passed away July 2, 2016, and since then, the only writing I have done is in my journal. I haven't felt like expressing myself on a public platform. However, after the first anniversary of his death, I've been feeling down and unmotivated. After googling, second year of grief, it seems common to have a "what now?" phase. It was acceptable to be caught up in grief during the first year, getting through each "first," but the second year you realize your loved one is truly gone and you have to make new memories, find a new path. It's sad.
I was uploading photos from my phone to my computer and realized I am enjoying life and making memories, but I'm struggling to recognize the beauty and vitality of life right now. Make sense? So I thought I'd reboot the P365 - where I take a picture each day and share it with you. Maybe that would help me see the blessings that surround me each day. What do you say? Want to help me enjoy life again?
Hope you enjoy the pictures...
